16 июня Верховная Рада Украины приняла законопроект №2255 о внесении изменений в некоторые законодательные акты Украины относительно создания национального органа интеллектуальной собственности. Соответствующее решение поддержали 245 народных депутатов Украины.
November 25, 2016 - representatives of the NGO "IKMIV" took part in the "Counteracting the “Patent trolling" in Ukraine in the context of intellectual property protection" roundtable held by the Research Center of Forensic Expertise on Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and Patent law firm "Pakharenko and partners" together with the Research Institute of intellectual property of the National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine, Koretsky Institute of state and law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv University of Law and "IPjurix" law firm at the Ministry of Justice.
November 24, 2016 a round table on the topic “The role of forensics in cases of the specialized intellectual property court" was held, organized by the association of experts "Artifeks", which was attended by representatives of the NGO "IKMIV”.
October, 14 – is the Day of Ukraine’s defender, the Ukrainian cossacks’ Day and the day of Protection of the Most Holy Virgin.
Also today our team celebrates the creation of "IKMIV".During this small, but very important period of time, we have grown, learned out a lot of new and found new adherents.
September, 30 in the meeting hall of the College of Justice a round table on "Formation of academic integrity and mechanisms for preventing and combating plagiarism in scientific writings in Ukraine" was held.
The aim of round table is to develop scientific and methodological foundations of academic integrity and establishing of effective mechanisms for preventing and combating plagiarism in scientific and educational works, methods and tools for forensic examination in Ukraine, as well as software that can detect plagiarism in academic papers.
September, 29 the project presentation "Ukrainian art reform for the Future" in the field of intellectual property was held at the information agency "Ukrinform".
The current situation with the intellectual property rights’ management is poor causes for concern. In order to solve it, June 1, 2016 the concept of intellectual propertywas approved, pursuant to which the Ukrainian government in August approved a number of decisions, in particular, an action plan for its implementation.
September, 9 in the conference hall "Khreshchatyk" was held a National Forum of Ukrainian National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce ICC Ukraine jointly with the Council of Exporters and Investors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The theme of the Forum, which brought together heads of ICC Ukraine, business associations, foreign and Ukrainian partners and representatives of Ukrainian business, was declared «ICC Ukraine - a promising platform for national business and reliable partner for foreign investors".

On June 8, 2016 representatives of PO ICIPM took part in a scientific-practical conference on "Theory and practice of legal responsibility for the offense in the information sector". The conference was organized by the Research Institute for Informatics and Law of NALS of Ukraine together with the Interdepartmental Research Center for combating the organized crime at NSDC of Ukraine, Kyiv Research Institute of forensic examination of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and NTU "KPI".
